REUSE TUES – Paper Towel Roll Fun Learning

Who says learning can’t be fun? My eldest is starting school next year and I’m looking for fun ways where he can learn to read letters of the alphabet.  I came across this idea from Testy Yet Trying Blog of using a paper towel roll and some sticky dots. We go through so much paper towel and there are only so many ninja turtle nunchucks and binoculars you can make.

Write the letters on the dot stickers and scatter the same letters on the paper towel roll. The idea is to stick the letter sticker onto the matching letter on the pole.  You can also use shapes instead of letters which is great for younger ones. Other ways you could have fun with this is playing bingo and circle the first 5 numbers that are called out.

Also this is perfect for travelling with kids as it will keep their little fingers and minds busy .
